Postal is a professional space for sharing music, ideas, and collaboration.
These guidelines exist to keep the community respectful, creative, and focused on what matters most: the music.
By using Postal — including posting on the Feed — you agree to follow these Community Guidelines, along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Be Respectful
Postal is built for artists, producers, songwriters, labels, and music teams.
We expect:
- Constructive feedback
- Respectful conversation
- Professional conduct
The following are not allowed:
- Harassment or bullying
- Hate speech or discrimination
- Threats or abusive behavior
2. Share Responsibly
Only share content you have the right to post.
This includes:
- Music, demos, and unreleased tracks
- Artwork, videos, and visuals
- Written posts, comments, and links
Do not upload or post:
- Music you do not own or have permission to share
- Leaked or confidential material
- Content that violates copyright, trademark, or other rights
Always respect collaborators, credits, and ownership.
3. Music & Creative Content
Postal is a music-first platform. The Feed is a place to:
- Share works in progress
- Announce releases or projects
- Exchange feedback and ideas
- Discover new music and collaborators
Please do not:
- Claim authorship of work that is not yours
- Misrepresent your role in a project
- Share unreleased music without consent
4. Keep It Professional
Spam and low-quality promotion hurt the experience for everyone.
Avoid:
- Repetitive or automated posts
- Unsolicited advertising or mass promotion
- Irrelevant links or engagement bait
Sharing your work is encouraged — just do it thoughtfully and in context.
5. Privacy & Safety
Do not share:
- Personal or private information about others
- Confidential business details
- Private communications without consent
Even if content is shared with a limited audience, Postal cannot guarantee it will remain private. Think carefully before posting.
6. Impersonation & Misrepresentation
Be honest about who you are.
Do not:
- Impersonate another person, artist, brand, or organization
- Mislead others about your identity, role, or affiliations
Accounts found impersonating others may be removed.
7. Reporting Content
If you see content that violates these guidelines:
- Use the in-product reporting tools, or
- Contact Postal Support
We review reports and take action where appropriate.
8. Enforcement & Moderation
To protect the community, Postal may:
- Remove or restrict content
- Limit account features
- Suspend or terminate accounts
Actions may be taken with or without notice.
Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.
Moderation decisions are final.
9. Changes to These Guidelines
Postal may update these Community Guidelines as the platform evolves.
Continued use of Postal means you agree to the latest version.
